PRESS RELEASE: Million Parent March – July 4, 2017

July 4, 2017

Happy Independence Day to all the parents, children, families, advocates, activists, and freedom fighters around the world who are standing up for parental rights, family court reform, foster care and CPS reform! Today not only commemorates the day that Americans declared their independence from the British Monarchy in 1776, but is also a day to celebrate our fight for liberty and freedom from abusive “legal” practices and “illegal” authoritarian overreach into our families and children’s lives. Let us all stand together and unite to assert our Constitutional protections and fundamental right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness for our children, our families, and future generations!!!

September 17th – 20th parents and activists and organizational leaders from around the nation will descend upon Washington, D.C. for an incredible, unprecedented four day event consisting of a Constitution Day rally/sit-in at the U.S. Capitol, a historic “Million Parent March”, a film festival, and two days worth of educational and lobbying activities and sign-waving around the city all in support of protecting and defending parental rights and legislative reform. Speakers from throughout the movement will be presenting to audiences throughout all four days. A growing coalition of groups and organizations from coast to coast are working hard to collaborate and coordinate to bring this amazing event to fruition.

If you’re a parent, a child of divorce or a contested custody arrangement, a family member, or any one of countless Americans impacted by a family court case, this will be an event you do NOT want to miss. Virtually every major organization working in the area of family law to uphold and protect the rights of children, parents, and families will be represented and presenting their ideas and solutions to the public, as well as legislative leaders in Congress. The time has come to stand up and be heard! Come join us in unity at the Million Parent March, Sept 17th – 20th!!

PRESS RELEASE: Million Parent March – June 15, 2017

June 15, 2017

The nation’s leading advocates for parental equality, family court reform and foster care and CPS reform are uniting together to march on the US Capitol in Washington, D.C. for an unprecedented four day event of rallies, legislative lobbying, collaboration and education dubbed as the “Million Parent March”, September 17th-20th, 2017.

A growing list of local and national organizations from all around the country are participating in the event:  Family Court Reform USA, Parentalink, Mothers Against Family Abuse, The Father’s Rights Movement, Family Civil Liberties Union, Restoring Freedom, Truth Exposed and many more are forming a coalition of parents, families, and human and civil rights advocates and activists to meet with US Congressional members and propose solutions that will better protect our children and families dealing with child custody issues in family courts.  The solutions we develop leading up to this event, and in the years to come, will impact future generations of American children, and help to lead the way in policy decisions that will ultimately protect the fundamental right of children around the world to have the love and care of both of their biological parents whenever possible and better protect those who cannot.

Leaders from these organizations have been collaborating to not only plan this event, but to build a coalition of experienced leadership from around the country.  Kyle Paskewitz, Executive Director of Family Court Reform USA and Parentalink has been asked to lead the Organizing Committee, comprised of several major focus areas:  Social Media and Marketing, Video and Graphics Production, Logistics, Legal Challenges, Legislative Actions, Campaigns, and Admin Support.

If you’re interested in volunteering for one of these committees, joining as a participating organization, or supporting us as a parent or family member in Washington D.C. this September, join our “official” Facebook page for updates about the event and to contact the team:
